Biggest Moon of the Year

March 19th was apparently one of those strange days where the moon is closest to planet Earth for once in like... years. I thought about this for a while I laid in bed watching Jimmy Fallon... I thought about how I've never taken a picture of the moon before... and finally, I mustered the energy to get up, dig my tripod out of the closet, and attempt to capture this astrologic phenomenon.

I used a tripod, an intervalometer (for the external shutter release), a 70-200mm lens, and camera settings - iso 200, f/5.6, 1/800s

The resulting picture is below. I am pretty pleased with it! It's amazing to see so many details!

Jenn and Jamie's Engagement Video Sesh - St. Louis Videographer

This is White Kite Foto's first Engagement Video Session! Hooray! Jenn and Jamie were so patient the day we did this, and I thank them for that! It was a beautiful evening, with a slight bit of hot. But they kept on smiling, and we got everything done on schedule! Thanks guys!

Gregan's EuroTrip

My wife and I recently took the vacation of our lives. We flew to London, took the Chunnel to Paris, flew to Rome, took a train to Sienna, then Florence, Cinque Terre, Pisa, then back to Florence to grab an overnight train to Munich for Oktoberfest, then ended it all with a night in Dublin. Needless to say, it was both fantastic and extremely exhausting. I schlepped the Mark ii every step of the way, which resulted in over 1500 photos, which I've narrowed down to around 1200 for your viewing pleasure :)

My wife was shooting snapshots with an Olympus Stylus 1030 SW, and I have included those pictures as they were taken chronologically throughout the gallery also.

Instead of posting one monstrous gallery, I broke everything up by city. You can view the photos in the order they were taken by viewing the galleries from top to bottom. My favorite gallery is probably Cinque Terre :)

Katy and Kent's Engagement Foto Sesh - St. Louis Photographer

Katy and Kent are two of me and my wife's very good friends. I was excited when they contacted me to take their engagement photos. It was my first official session, and there was a lot of experimentation going on, but Katy and Kent kept the situation on cool. It helped that they are a very photogenic couple, and that I've been best friends with Kent since the 5th grade :)
